iconCoin Drops - Complete Schedule

Last updated Monday, 7/12/2010 - at approx. 8:30 PM

Contact Bill Holena at BillHolena@epix.net to sign up. Please include full cheerleader name, 2010-2011 squad, date, location and shift. Please name the shift instead of giving the time range. It is much easier to find it on the schedule An example of a request would be:

Jane Doe, Boltz - 12/25 WB Walmart - Shift 2

Some Coin Drop policies:

A parent (or other responsible adult) is required to be present at each door for the entire shift. No exceptions! The parent/adult is not allowed to sit inside the door of the store. This is especially important at Walmart locations.

If you switch with someone or get a replacement, it is important to let me know so the Booster Club can make an accurate accounting of the proceeds. Only you can let me know that your cheerleader will not be there. Cancellations from the replacement person or from any other person will not be honored. It is also important to sign in at the coin drops. Last minute changes will happen, and the sign-in sheet is the final record.

If you do not show up for a scheduled coin drop shift, you will be removed from any future coin drops if no attempt is made to find a replacement. The attempt to find a replacement must be timely!

The first people on a coin drop are responsible for getting the decorated buckets from the gym and bringing them to the drop. They will also start a sign-in sheet for the day and pass it forward with the buckets and money.

At the end of each shift, the parents on the shift should count the money collected on that shift and record it on the sign-in sheet. It is not necessary to count everything down to the penny. Roll what can be rolled, count the bills, and record it on the sign-in sheet. All money for the day, and the sign-in sheet, is then to be passed forward to the next shift.

At the end of the day, the last people on the shift are responsible to return the buckets to the gym and get the money to the Booster Club (Jackie) as soon as possible. All money should be counted, wrapped and rolled. The money should be deposit-ready. The total recorded on the sign-in sheet should also be verified.

When counting the proceeds, do not do it out in the open in front of the store. Also, please do not use a CoinStar machine. A percentage (up to 10%!) of the amount counted is taken. An option for counting the coin is PNCBank. Many PNCBank locations have coin counting machines. If you bank with PNCBank, there is no fee for using the machine.

Remember that you represent Keystone Extreme when at these coin drops. Please be polite, and on your best behavior. Also, no tumbling or cheering.
